Quinn McIntyre (BSc, MSc, CEnvP)

Enviroscope was founded by Quinn McIntyre in 2020. Quinn’s pragmatic approach to environmental management provided invaluable advice and solutions to those in the construction and land development sectors.

Quinn was a Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP) and his depth of knowledge stemmed from his 18 years of professional experience in environmental and resource management in New Zealand and Australia. He gained extensive experience in all aspects of construction environmental management, and worked across various industries including land development, oil and gas, linear infrastructure, ports, and agriculture, in both the private and public sectors.

Quinn’s ability to connect with people from all walks of life has been instrumental in shaping Enviroscope into what it is today. Known for his integrity, authenticity and sense of humour, these qualities have fostered a positive culture at Enviroscope. Under Quinn’s leadership, a dedicated group of professionals was cultivated to provide exceptional guidance in environmental management. Thanks to Quinn’s mentoring and sharing of expertise, Enviroscope is recognised as an industry leader in the Queenstown Lakes District.

Quinn tragically passed away in May 2024, but his legacy and dedication to promoting continual improvement has positively impacted the Otago environment and will continue to inspire and guide Enviroscope.

Tom Grandiek (BAppSc, CEnvP)

Director / Principal Consultant

Tom is a Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP) with extensive experience in the environmental and resource management industry. This includes two years as the Monitoring, Enforcement & Environmental Team Leader for QLDC. This experience has provided Tom with an intimate understanding of regulations, including the monitoring and enforcement process. Tom has a deep-seated passion for the environment, due to his rural upbringing in Southland.

Tom is experienced in all aspects of construction environmental management. He is highly skilled in Erosion and Sediment Control and has been engaged by regulatory authorities to undertake expert reviews of Erosion Sediment Control Plans (ESCP). Tom’s sound knowledge along with his level-headed approach to finding solutions is invaluable to our clients.

Lucy Cramp (BSc (Ecology), MSc)

Lucy Cramp

Lucy brings an extensive background in environmental science to our team, with a specialised focus on soil, freshwater and groundwater. She completed her Master’s in Environmental Management at Massey University and has over five years of consulting experience. Lucy has honed her skills across various industries, including urban development, infrastructure, waste management, mining, and dairy. Lucy’s expertise lies in sustainability and resource management and she is experienced in preparing Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Environmental Management Plans (EMP) and Erosion and Sediment Control Plans (ESCP). Lucy’s skills in navigating the complexities of resource consenting and environmental compliance make her an invaluable asset to our clients. Lucy has relocated to Wanaka from Wellington, and with a love for the outdoors looks forward to exploring the hiking trails around the region.

Will Thomson (BAppSc, MSusBus)

Will grew up in Auckland, before moving to Dunedin to obtain a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Management and a Master of Sustainable Business from the University of Otago. Will has gained expertise through a focus on geomorphology, hydrology, and environmental management throughout his studies.

Will has honed his skills in assisting with the preparation of Environmental Management Plans (EMP) and Erosion and Sediment Control Plans (ESCP) as well as undertaking fieldwork and chemical bench testing. His commitment and attention to detail ensures that projects comply with environmental regulations. Outside of work Will can be found skiing, freediving, or playing football.

Stacey McIntyre

Stacey plays a pivotal role in ensuring our team’s day-to-day operations run smoothly. Before helping to establish Enviroscope with Quinn, Stacey built a successful career in the health industry as a Registered Nurse and Clinical Educator across the private and public sectors. Currently, she is pursuing her Master’s in Counselling, specialising in solutions-focused therapy, which aligns well with Enviroscope’s commitment to maintaining a solutions-focused approach. With two decades of transferrable skills, Stacey is well-equipped to support our highly functioning environmental consulting practice.
